Hi,

I started using Linux in 1999, becoming Debian GNU/Linux user a few years later (I don't know when exactly, but I held a talk on creating Debian packages in June 2002 in my local LUG, so I was obviously before that point in time).

During my studies I was active around the Skolelinux project (Debian Edu) in Germany and IIRC my account on Alioth mainly served to contribute to CipUX (https://wiki.debian.org/CipUX). I also uploaded a tiny Debian package (through sponsoring) to the Debian project in 2014 (air-quality-sensor, which I just orphaned as it no longer of much use today).

I am now active in the mobile Linux area (i.e. Mobian) and a member of Phosh e.V., doing small code contributions and some policy work. What I would like to do first as a DM is getting the Asterisk package in a better shape, working together with with DD Jonas Smedegaard (which I know since I was active at Skolelinux).

Regards,
Benedikt
